If I am exactly 50% mexican and it is documented, do i get any ...

Are there any at all when it comes to applying, being accepted into a college or for recieving scholarships? Is there a website for current scholarships for mexican americans?

You can find some good information here:
* A Better Chance

* Unclaimed Scholarships

If you have not yet graduated from scholarship, be sure to talk with a high school guidance counselor to learn about scholarships and other forms of higher education financial aid. There may be locally funded scholarship funds for which you can apply. Your guidance counselor should know about those.

Also, ask your high school librarian and a reference librarian at the local public library to help you find information on paying for college in general as well as scholarships and grants.

Once you have a list of colleges/universities to which you would like to apply, be sure to talk (via phone or in-person) with the financial aid counselors at those schools to find out what you need to do to be considered for financial aid at each school. Some colleges/universities may have scholarship funds for just their students. Your high school guidance counselor and both the high school and public librarians can also provide you with information regarding selecting a school/schools to consider.

There are several of excellent guides (printed books) with evaluative info on US colleges/universities. The public & high school libraries should hold them:

Title: Best Colleges (this is an annual publication)
Publisher: US News and World Report

Title: The Best Colleges (this is an annual publication)
Publisher: Princeton Review

Web sites to check regarding evaluative info on colleges/universities:
* The College Board
http://www.collegeboard.org
These 2 web sites will only provide partial info. The printed books mentioned above will have complete info.
* US News and World Report

* Princeton Review
