On behalf of the Davis School Arts Foundation, I voice the organization?s support for voting yes on Measure C. DSAF is doing its part to minimize the impact of budget cuts by providing funding to teachers and schools to support arts and music programs. In a unique partnership with the Davis Joint Unified School District, the annual contribution the DSAF makes is matched by the district, thus doubling the financial support to teachers and classrooms.
While we?re very proud of our efforts, the DSAF board urges voters to support arts and music education with a ?yes? vote for Measure C, which will help balance and enrich the curriculum in Davis schools for another generation of students.
